These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of still.frame (the "Service"), operated by still.frame ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

still.frame lets you upload or select footage and a backing track, and generates short-form hook videos (headline text and synced captions) for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Final-quality video export happens in your own browser; we don't guarantee any particular render time, and rendering depends on your device and browser capabilities.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the footage, audio, and text you upload or provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and render Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to use any footage, music, or other material you upload -- we don't review Your Content for licensing issues, and you agree not to upload anything you don't have the right to use.

4. Acceptable Use

Don't use the Service to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates a third party's rights. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service's infrastructure.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans, billing cycles, and our refund policy are described in our Subscription & Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.

6. Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. On termination, we may delete Your Content and account data after a reasonable grace period.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any generated video will achieve any particular result on any platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, still.frame won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
